General Evangelist of The Wesleyan Church (1997-2003) traveling full-time in evangelistic crusades, camp meetings, ministerial conferences, advent and family enrichment weekends.

PASTORAL SERVICE:
Lead Pastor (1970-1997, 2003-Present) full-time including a total of five Wesleyan Churches in Cleveland, Oak Hill, Columbus (Ohio), Kokomo (Indiana) and Flint (Michigan).

MINISTERIAL SERVICE:
Called to preach in 1962 at 15 years of age, camp, retreat speaker from 1962 – present

Rev. Bret Layton

Bret Layton is Senior Pastor at the High Street Church of the Nazarene in Springfield, OH and an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene.  He is a dynamic communicator…preaching biblical messages that are practical and challenging and has been pastoring and growing healthy churches for more than 20 years.

He is a graduate of Ohio Christian University (formerly Circleville Bible College) and holds a Masters Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Bret loves people of all ages and especially loves the wonderful people of Taylor County Campmeeting!  2008 will mark the Laytons seventh visit to TCC.

Bret has been happily married to Beth for 21 years.  They have two teenage girls…Madison,17 and Morgan, 14.

Rev. R. D. Saunders

R.D. Saunders is currently the Lead Pastor of The Crossing, a Church of the Nazarene in the Atlanta area.  The Crossing was planted in January of 2006 and now has a congregation of about 180 people. 

R.D. began his ministry at 14 as a gospel singer until he felt a clear call from God to serve as a pastor at 17.  Following his training at Circleville Bible College, he ministered as a youth pastor, church planter, and senior pastor in Georgia, Ohio, and Florida.  These ministries enjoyed significant growth under R.D.'s leadership.  

Recently he served the Equip Foundation in Africa, Romania, and Ukraine as an associate trainer of leadership.  He is a gifted communicator, teacher, and singer. 

His wife Shelli is also an incredible musician, song writer, and singer.  R.D. and Shelli live in Buford GA with their two sons Landon and Logan.
